| Star chef's Chicago restaurant went bust, but he found an investor to start a quality diner "'Salt and Pepper" at small town Angel Heights. It's also the home town of TV food correspondent Carly Hayes, where she must produce a Christmas festival pilot to get her own show format "A Chef's recipe" approved by TV channel CSN. They both -and his kid daughter Tess- stay with her grandmother Delia, who used to run a restaurant.
