| During the initial outbreak of the pandemic in 2020, the interconnected stories of three female protagonists unfold simultaneously in different cities across China. In Wuhan, a family are divided and tested as they fall deathly ill. In Beijing, young lovers desperately want to be reunited while one of them deteriorates in isolation. And in Hong Kong, a struggling husband and wife are put to the ultimate test as the virus challenges their dedication to their careers, family, and ultimately to each other.
