The god-loving and traditional Vaknin Family lives in a remote town in Israel, longing for the good old motherland, Morocco, and trying to make some sense of their lives. One of the sons - Jojo, addicted to gambling, is looking for a "quick-fix" - making loads of money in no time. By that, he drags the family into a financial crisis, which threatens to tear them to pieces.
